The NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year, Mobley, was impactful on both ends of the floor in Game 3. He recorded a complete stat line as Cleveland moved one step closer to the second round. While the Heat also starts two bigs, they’ve struggled to match up with Mobley and Jarrett Allen. Game 4 is scheduled for Monday, with the Cavaliers aiming to clinch the series.

Garland did not play in Saturday’s Game 3 victory, a game the Cavaliers won by a 37-point margin. Sam Merrill replaced him in the starting lineup, but the point guard’s absence also meant more opportunities for Ty Jerome. Cleveland holds a 3-0 series lead, but that is not expected to factor into the medical staff’s thinking regarding Garland’s availability.

Hunter has bounced back nicely since going scoreless in Cleveland’s series-opening win on April 20. Having scored 12 points in Game 2, he was even better on Saturday, helping the Cavaliers absorb the absence of Darius Garland (toe). Regardless of Garland’s status for Monday’s Game 4, Hunter remains a key contributor off the bench. The Cavaliers aim to end the series in Miami, which would net them additional rest ahead of the second round.

Despite the Cavaliers not having Darius Garland (toe), Jerome remained in a reserve role for Game 3. However, that did not prevent him from recording a career-high assist total and a double-double. With his play throughout the regular season and in this series, Jerome has likely secured himself a substantial contract in unrestricted free agency this summer. First and foremost is the need to take care of this series, with Game 4 scheduled for Monday.

After victimizing the Warriors in the first two games of the series, Sengun was held in check Saturday night. Golden State’s decision to start Quentin Post meant the Rockets’ center had to contend with more size at the start of the game, and he struggled. Making matters worse was Sengun’s 1-of-6 night from the foul line. A 69.2 percent foul shooting during the regular season, that’s going to be an area of difficulty for Sengun, but he can’t be as poor as he was on Saturday. Now trailing two games to one, the Rockets will look to even the series on Monday.

Zubac has recorded a double-double in three of the series’ first four games, with Saturday’s effort including a complete stat line. The Clippers’ center has done his best defensively to make life difficult for Nikola Jokic. Although he hasn’t always been successful, Zubac has still managed to make significant contributions offensively. The Clippers now head to Denver for Game 5, scheduled for Tuesday night, with the series tied at two games apiece.

With his team facing a 3-1 deficit, Jokic was dominant in Saturday’s Game 4 victory. While he finished two assists shy of a triple-double, the Nuggets center recorded the fourth 30/20 game of his postseason career. While Jokic being the focal point offensively is unsurprising, he’s either scored or assisted on a staggering 55.5 percent of the Nuggets’ points in this series. With the series now tied at two games apiece, the Nuggets host Game 5 on Tuesday.
