Keldon Johnson provided a boost off the bench with 23 points (10-of-14 FGs), nine rebounds, one block and one three-pointer against the Raptors on Sunday.

After missing Friday’s game against the Suns, Johnson was available for San Antonio’s season finale. He ended up being their leading scorer off the bench to help them end the year on a high note. Johnson’s season was disappointing as his points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers and minutes all took a big hit. He averaged just 12.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 triples in a 23.9 minutes per game, though he was available for 77 games. He may not be a great fantasy option, but Johnson is a really strong reserve scorer for a Spurs team that should make a return to the postseason next year.

Stephon Castle lit up the Raptors with 20 points (5-of-16 FGs, 9-of-9 FTs), eight rebounds, six assists and one three-pointer in a 125-118 win on Sunday.

Though he didn’t have an efficient shooting performance, Castle was able to close out his rookie season on a high note. This was his eighth-straight game with at least five assists, and he has scored at least 20 points in four of those games. Castle will likely be named the Rookie of the Year for this season, and he has a bright future ahead of him. However, while he will have a good chance to start for the Spurs next season, he may not make the same statistical impact with the rest of the team healthy.

Chris Paul posted a strong line on Sunday with 15 points (5-of-13 FGs), six rebounds, six assists, fours steals and two three-pointers against the Raptors.

Paul has had another solid season, though it has gone under the radar at times. However, with an appearance on Sunday, Paul was able to play in all 82 games for just the second time in his career. That is wildly impressive for a point guard who will turn 40 years old next month. Paul is nowhere near as productive as he once was, but he is still one of the best passers in the league at his age. As long as he is playing, there won’t be many players in the league who can match his combination of assists and steals with limited turnovers.

LeBron James shot 8-of-18 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Timberwolves, scoring 19 points with five rebounds, three assists, two steals, three blocks and one three-pointer in 36 minutes.

Jaden McDaniels finished Saturday’s Game 1 win over the Lakers with 25 points (11-of-13 FGs), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and three three-pointers in 33 minutes.

McDaniels’ aggressiveness on the offensive end was one of the key factors in Minnesota’s Game 1 victory. He didn’t hesitate to make plays on that end of the floor, and the result was a highly efficient outing in Los Angeles. McDaniels scored 20 points or more 12 times during the regular season, most recently doing so in a March 16 win over the Jazz. Nights like Saturday have not been the norm for Jaden, so it would be unsurprising if his production took a hit in Game 2 on Tuesday. However, his performance in Game 1 has given the Lakers something to think about when they draw up their defensive game plan for Tuesday.

Tobias Harris accounted for 25 points (8-of-13 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, two blocks and four three-pointers in 40 minutes in Saturday’s Game 1 loss to the Knicks.

Saturday’s series opener was a tale of two halves for Harris. Shooting 7-of-10 from the field, he scored 22 points in the first half. Harris would only attempt three shots after halftime, going silent as the Pistons went from leading by eight at the end of the third quarter to trailing by 13 due to a 21-0 Knicks run. While the overall line was encouraging, the Pistons need a more consistent Harris if they’re to win this series. Game 2 is on Monday night.
