Matkovic finished with the second-highest scoring and rebound totals of his career and his first double-double. The rookie has played an increased role for the banged-up Pels over the last month, and he’s now started three games. The Bosnian big man has averaged 11.7 points, 9.3 rebounds 1.7 blocks and 1.7 triples in those contests.

Two days after firing lead executive David Griffin, the Pelicans officially hired his replacement. Dumars served as Detroit’s president of basketball operations for 14 years and, most recently, was the NBA’s executive vice president and head of basketball operations. He’ll have some key questions to answer this offseason, most notably Willie Green’s future as head coach and whether or not Zion Williamson is equipped to remain a key figure in the Pelicans’ rebuild. While Zion has shown flashes of excellence, the inability to stay healthy has been an issue for New Orleans.

Robinson-Earl struggled with his shot in Sunday’s season finale, but he did provide solid value in the rebound and assist categories. He didn’t offer much value throughout the season, as rotation minutes were not guaranteed. Unfortunately for Robinson-Earl, he’s likely to encounter a similar situation in New Orleans next season with a healthy Zion Williamson in the fold.

Davis wrapped up the season on a high note individually, though it wasn’t a great performance for the rest of his team. His 40 points were the most he has had in a game since the Lakers traded him in January. Unfortunately, he exited this game with a little over eight minutes remaining and didn’t get to add to his scoring total. The team hasn’t released an official injury update, but he was limping off the floor. He’ll have the offseason to recover, and there is no reason to think he won’t be ready to start the 2025-26 season.

Okongwu was much better against Miami than he was against Orlando, but it wasn’t enough to change the result for the Hawks. Still, it was an excellent night in the box score for Okongwu, and it should have fantasy managers feeling encouraged ahead of next season. He took over as the Hawks’ starting center in January and averaged 15.2 points, 10.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 triples after taking the job. He should remain in a starting role next season, which makes him an attractive option in category formats. He should be taken in the top-50 in drafts.

AD will be good to go after initially being listed as probable. He finished with 27 points in Wednesday’s win over the Kings and will look to guide this Dallas team to the playoffs in this play-in matchup. The winner of this game will take on the Thunder.
