Porzingis and Horford will not play in Sunday’s regular season finale; Boston’s top six players will all sit. Luke Kornet and Neemias Queta should play plenty since the result of Sunday’s game has no bearing on the team’s playoff seeding.

Brown is practicing after missing Boston’s last three regular-season games. The Celtics forward has been dealing with some knee pain and hopes to return to full health for the playoffs.

Kornet made the most of his starting nod on Sunday with a well-rounded performance. The reserve big man has had quite a few strong showings in the final weeks of the regular season. He’ll likely play a modest role behind Kristaps Porzingis in the postseason.

It wasn’t surprising to see Pritchard thrive with the keys to the offense in the Celtics’ final game of the season. He finished the regular season scoring at least 20 points in three of his final five games. His role will likely diminish come playoff time, though. Despite how exceptional he’s been off the bench this season.

Interestingly, the one area in which Jackson struggled against the Warriors during the regular season was a position of strength on Tuesday. After shooting 3-of-18 from deep in four meetings, he was 4-of-9 on Tuesday. The issue was Jackson shooting 2-of-6 from two, a far cry from the 54.1 percent clip he shot during the regular season. Jackson will look to rebound on Friday when the Grizzlies host Dallas or Sacramento. The winner of Friday’s game will be the eighth seed in the West.

Sabonis may not be entering a three-point contest anytime soon, but he was elite against the Suns. The Kings center made all four attempts from beyond the arc on Sunday, adding bonus value to a solid overall stat line. Sacramento’s victory secured the ninth seed in the West, so they will host Dallas in a play-in tournament game on Wednesday. The Kings need to win two to reach the playoffs, and they’ll need an elite Sabonis to get the job done.

Smith was questionable earlier in the day on Sunday with a headache, but he ended up playing through it and recording a double-double in just 16 minutes. Smith has been the third center option behind Nikola Vucevic and Zach Collins, but Vucevic didn’t play in the second half of this game, which allowed both Smith and Collins (13/4/2) to take on extra minutes. However, while they will still provide some depth, Vucevic will fill out most of the center minutes during the Play-In Tournament.
