Watford played just 16 minutes in the Nets’ loss to the Trail Blazers Friday. The 24-year-old power forward is out Saturday with left hamstring injury management, which could mean he won’t be playing both games of a back-to-back in the near future. Watford can provide deep league value when the opportunity for more minutes presents itself.

After a disappointing start to the season, Claxton was able to redeem himself steadily. The Nets center finished as a seventh-round player in free-throw punt builds, which is only one round worse than his Yahoo! ADP. That said, Claxton’s rebounding and blocked shot production decreased, with the averages of 7.4 rebounds and 1.4 blocks being the lowest for him since the 2021-22 campaign. He’ll remain a key building block for the Nets next season, but the team is undoubtedly hoping that he’ll be more effective on the glass and as a defender.

Martin was allowed to start Sunday’s season finale, his 11th of the season, and the former second-round pick played well. He recorded his second 20-point game in five appearances, and the rebounding production was also encouraging. Martin’s contract for next season is non-guaranteed, making it a fool’s errand to project what value he will provide to fantasy managers. And with the Nets having four first-round picks this summer, Martin’s path to a guaranteed contract will remain challenging.

Claxton is back after sitting out Friday’s loss to the Timberwolves. While Precious Achiuwa should be a good matchup for him, fantasy managers in active leagues should assume Claxton will not log starters’ minutes in the regular-season finale. Johnson, Watford and Wilson offer decent fantasy ceilings for Sunday’s loaded schedule.

On the day he was named a finalist for the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award, Jerome showed why he was deserving of that distinction. Playing in his first playoff game, the Cavaliers guard finished with the fourth-most points scored off the bench in a postseason debut since 1971. Defending Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland was challenging enough for Miami; Jerome’s play was essentially the knockout blow in Game 1, scoring 16 points in the fourth quarter. He’ll look to build on this performance when the Cavaliers host Game 2 on Wednesday.

In addition to the victory, the good news for the Celtics on Sunday was that Brown’s right knee did not appear to give him any trouble. The time off, with the Celtics’ guard having missed the team’s final three regular-season games, appeared to do Brown some good health-wise. He didn’t have the best afternoon from a scoring standpoint. Still, the improved production offered by Derrick White and Payton Pritchard helped the reigning champs compensate for their three primary scorers having lackluster days. Game 2 is on Wednesday.

Williams did everything for the OKC in Game 1. Only Aaron Wiggins scored more points (21) and Williams led OKC in assists and steals in the contest. He was a game-high +44 and will continue to make a huge impact on this series moving forward.
