49ers GM said, “Absolutely there’s a chance,” when asked about the possibility of Ricky Pearsall playing in Week 7 against the Chiefs.

Lynch said the team has not officially decided on Pearsall’s Week 7 status but added that the rookie receiver is “trending in a good direction.” Pearsall has been a full participant in practice this week, which seemingly leaves things up to the coaches as to whether or not they’re ready to activate him this week. If he is active, Pearsall could provide some much needed snaps right out of the gate, as Jauan Jennings (hip) has missed both practices to start the week and is trending toward missing Sunday’s game.
