IND • WR • #14
It was no Anthony Richardson, no problem for Pierce, who turned his meager workload into the most yards of his three-year career. He had 24, 46 and 65-yard receptions, all of which came in the fourth quarter. The 65-yarder was a house call that brought Indy to within 37-34. Pierce, obviously, beat the coverage deep, once again taking the lid off a defense this season. It’s an awesome skill to have, but it’s the only one the Colts are utilizing with Pierce. That makes him difficult to trust as a WR4 regardless of whether it is Richardson or Flacco under center.
