Alvin Kamara

Alvin Kamara rushed 13 times for 40 yards in the Saints’ Week 6 loss to the Bucs, adding five receptions for 24 yards.

Kamara was targeted eight times, but rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler failed to hit the mark on several throws. The Bucs’ defense bottled up Kamara with ease, limiting him to 3.1 yards per carry with his longest gain being a seven-yard attempt. The Saints began struggling with Derek Carr under center after their two-game explosion to open the year. They are now attempting to get on track with a fifth-round rookie on the sticks. Needless to say, we shouldn’t expect much offensive output from them in Week 7 against the Broncos. Their struggles on offense will push Kamara to the end of the RB1 rankings next week.
