CLE • WR • #2
Cooper was almost entirely absent from the box score entering halftime. He had one catch on one target for two yards after two frames. Deshaun Watson keyed in on him in the second half, though it wasn’t always for the best. Watson hit Cooper with a downfield bullet in the middle of the third quarter and Cooper deflected the pass into the air for a fly ball interception from Raiders safety Tre’von Moehrig. Cooper’s snakebitten day continued late in the fourth quarter when he got behind Vegas’s secondary for an 82-yard score, only for the play to be called back by a shockingly minor holding penalty. Cooper now has three scoreless games under 40 yards and an 86-yard, two-score outing in Week 3. Deshaun Watson’s struggles have made Cooper consistency nightmare and his recurring drops have done Watson no favors. Cooper is a high-risk WR2 for his Week 5 matchup with Washington.
