Cooper received a $5 million raise from the Browns for this season and will now make $20 million on the final year of a five-year, $100 million contract he signed back in 2020. Cooper, 30, totaled 72 receptions for a career-high 1,250 yards and five touchdowns with the Browns last season and is out to prove that he’s worth another lucrative contract next offseason. Whether that leads to him re-upping with the Browns is to be determined, but Cooper said he hopes to return next year while noting, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” Cooper has averaged 72.5 receiving yards per game in 12 regular season games, with Deshaun Watson at the helm and 13.5 fantasy points per game. He projects as a strong WR2 in PPR leagues this season but could face added target competition with Jerry Jeudy now in town.
