Andy Dalton completed 11-of-16 passes for 93 yards and two interceptions in the Panthers’ 40-7, Week 7 loss to the Commanders.

The Panthers got off to a strong start, totaling 61 yards on their opening drive before an interception by Dalton on a screen pass turned into a pick six for the Commanders. Things only got worse from there. Dalton threw a second interception on his third drive of the game, and was limited to short passes all day while facing repeated pressure from the Commanders’ front seven. Dalton led the Panthers on a scoring drive early in the fourth quarter to squash any hopes of a shutout the Commanders may have had, but he and the offense were brutal throughout this one. Fantasy managers will want to consider sitting most of their Panthers in Week 8 against the Broncos.
