Anthony Richardson

Anthony Richardson

INDQB • #5

Anthony Richardson completed 10-of-20 passes for 167 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions in the Colts’ 21-16, Week 3 win over the Bears, adding eight rushes for 24 yards.

Richardson remained hopelessly inaccurate on most short-to-intermediate passes, and this time couldn’t compensate with a rushing touchdown. He got stuffed on a goal-line carry, taking a huge shoulder shot in the process. He was thankfully no worse for the wear. Richardson did provide the deciding push on a Trey Sermon score, while he found three different pass catchers for 25-plus yard receptions. He simply has to start more frequently supplementing the spectacular with the mundane. The Steelers and Mike Tomlin are a really tough matchup for Week 4, probably leaving Richardson on the outside looking in of QB1 status. That being said, no one can blame you if you start him. Richardson can still change matchups on only 1-2 plays.
