Austin Ekeler ran four times for 17 yards in the Commanders’ Week 7 win over the Panthers, adding two receptions for three additional yards.

Ekeler played well behind Brian Robinson in Sunday’s blowout win over the Panthers. The veteran running back has served primarily as a third-down/change of pace back this season, and the Commanders didn’t find much use for his services in a game where the offense averaged 6.7 yards per play. Ekeler has only one top-24 fantasy finish on the season and shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than an RB3 in next week’s game against the Bears.
