Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield completed 31-of-45 passes for 370 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in Tampa’s 41-31 Week 7 loss against the Ravens.

He added four carries for 10 yards. A successful onside kick and a quick three-and-out while trailing in garbage time gave Mayfield time to compile an additional 165 passing yards and make the overall line quite respectable. There were portions of this game where the Buccaneers looked overwhelmed without Mike Evans and Mayfield was fortunate to escape with only three sacks. A 4-3 mid-off with the Falcons awaits for pole position in the NFC South. It’s hard to predict how Mayfield and Liam Coen will adjust without Chris Godwin and with Evans likely questionable at best for the game, but Mayfield should at least be a plausible low-end QB1 in Week 8.
