CIN • TE • #88
The deal is worth “up to” $3.25 million. The base is going to be worth considerably less after Gesicki flopped for his second team in as many years last season in New England. Gesicki, of course, was part of a horrid offensive environment in Boston, while the Bengals and Joe Burrow have been known to spark big plays up the seam. They got C.J. Uzomah paid, for instance. But it’s possible Gesicki, like Irv Smith before him in The Queen City, just isn’t a good enough overall football player to stay on the field. Going on 29, Gesicki’s ADP will probably deserve to be in the TE16-20 range.
