Ja'Marr Chase

Ja'Marr Chase

CINWR • #1

Bengals coach Zac Taylor confirmed he is “confident” Ja’Marr Chase (contract) will play Week 1.

The word “confident” was a reporter’s word, but Taylor answered in the affirmative. Chase has barely practiced this summer as he conducts a “hold-in” over his contract, but he was never expected to miss real games. Rust is definitely a concern even though Chase has undoubtedly been practicing on his own, but not enough to knock him out of the top five at wideout for weekend drafters. “It is what it is,” and Chase is far from the only blue-chipper not regularly practicing this summer.
