ATL • RB • #7
The Falcons used their two-headed rushing attack to beat the Panthers, with Robinson handling 18 touches for 105 yards. He split red zone carries with Tyler Allgeier, but scored from five and seven yards out. Robinson’s splits with Allgeier indicate he is unlikely to be a workhorse back and the Atlanta backfield will continue to utilize both. Robinson is still the first back in and likely favored when facing tougher run defenses, but he will be off the field for high leverage touches in favor of Allgeier every now and then. Fantasy managers are happy with the gashing of Carolina’s defense and the pair of scores. Robinson will continue to be a fantasy RB1 play heading into Week 7 against the Seahawks.
