Bills GM Brandon Beane said James Cook is not at voluntary workouts this week.

“I mean, it’s voluntary,” Beane told reporters. "...Try not to look too far into it.” Beane said he didn’t want to assume Cook is skipping over his contract demands, since he hadn’t heard that directly. But that is the obvious inference. It’s possible Cook will join the “hold in” watch in August when training camp starts.
