BUF • WR • #1
Backup quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was dealing with a knee injury and was also cleared to play. Samuel was considered week-to-week after suffering the turf toe injury in the middle of August. He practiced in full every day this week before being removed from the injury report. His health isn’t much of a concern anymore, but his role is still up in the air. Both he and Khalil Shakir are traditionally deployed out of the slot while Keon Coleman and Mack Hollins appear to be locked in as outside receivers. The winner of the slot job could push for WR3 numbers in this offense, but fantasy managers should proceed with caution heading into Week 1.
