Braelon Allen rushed five times for 11 yards in the Jets’ Week 13 loss to the Seahawks, adding two receptions for 16 yards.

Even with Breece Hall banged up with a knee issue that necessitated some trips to the sidelines, Allen remained stuck in his usual workload zone because of the increased involvement of fellow rookie RB Isaiah Davis. Davis’s sudden involvement suggests Allen maybe wouldn’t have the Jets’ backfield all to himself, after all, in the event Hall actually missed time. With Hall seemingly likely to suit up for Week 14 against the Dolphins, Allen remains a strict contingency back.
