Breece Hall rushed 16 times for 80 yards in the Jets’ Week 8 loss to the Patriots, adding a nine-yard reception.

Consistently ripping nice gains, Hall was a player crying out for a bigger workload in what turned out to be an upset stunner. On the negative side of the ledger, Hall committed an early third down drop and got vultured for a two-yard fourth quarter score by Braelon Allen. This, after Hall gained a yard on the previous play. Hall did out-touch Allen 17-12. Both backs could be needed for bigger workloads vs. the Texans’ strong pass defense for Thursday’s short-week affair. Hall remains locked into RB1 status.
