Vele’s impressive rise hits a speed bump. The seventh-round rookie and No. 3 WR evidently suffered a Week 1 ribs injury and his status for Week 2 is currently unknown. If he is able to play, he could see an increased target share with No. 2 WR Josh Reynolds also being questionable to play due to an Achilles tendon injury.
