Ward is one of three starting defensive backs for the Browns who are injured this week. Both of Cleveland’s starting safeties have been ruled out while Ward still has a shot at playing on Sunday. Ward currently leads the NFL in pass breakups at nine. Losing him would be devastating for a Cleveland defense that can’t afford to be without any more starters.
