Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said David Njoku (ankle) is week to week.

Njoku sustained a high ankle sprain in the second half of the Browns’ Week 1 loss to Dallas. It sounds like he could miss at least the team’s Week 2 game against the Jaguars. That would leave Jordan Akins, the only other Cleveland tight end to log a pass route against the Cowboys, to operate as the team’s No. 1 tight end. Akins caught two of three targets on Sunday for 27 yards.
