Deshaun Watson

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said the team has “a very, very good plan” for Deshaun Watson (shoulder).

Watson, who played in six games in 2023, is coming back from a fractured shoulder and said he would be ready for Week 1. “He’s doing all the things he’s supposed to be doing when it comes to rehab” said Stefanski. “When he get to those points and OTAs and minicamp, we will go with what’s suggested by the medical team.” There’s still plenty of time to go before Week 1 so much of this will depend on how Watson’s shoulder continues to respond to treatment, but both Stefanski and the Browns training staff seems to feel good about Watson being under center to start the season.
