Deshaun Watson

Browns QB Deshaun Watson will not play in the Browns’ third preseason game.

Watson has yet to appear in the preseason and was recently held out of practice with what was being called “general arm soreness.” Whether this absence is due to the arm soreness or not remains to be seen, but we expected to see Watson at some point in preseason after he missed the second half of the 2023 season. Head coach Kevin Stefanski recently stated that he wasn’t overly concerned with Watson’s arm but this third absence has to raise some alarm in Cleveland. The Browns open the regular season at home against the Cowboys in two weeks.
