Bub Means

NOSWR • #16

Bub Means caught 5-of-8 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Saints’ Week 6 loss to the Bucs.

Chris Olave went down with a concussion on the Saints’ first drive and did not return, opening up more routes for Means. The fifth-round rookie made the most of his increased role with a toe-dragging touchdown in the second quarter. It was both his and Spencer Rattler’s first career score. It was also Means’ first career reception. He entered the contest with one target on the season. Means could play a larger role for the Saints if Olave is sidelined beyond Week 6, though it will be hard to trust him as anything more than a low-end FLEX option given the state of the Saints’ quarterback play.
