Bucky Irving

Bucky Irving

Bucky Irving rushed 14 times for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs’ Week 6 win over the Saints.

Irving made his first career start with Rachaad White sidelined this week and made a push to be the team’s full-time starter moving forward. He broke off several big plays and punctuated his strong performance with a physical 31-yard run in the fourth quarter. He broke the play loose by tossing Saints safety Jonathan Abram aside with a nasty stiff arm just beyond the line of scrimmage. Irving ceded work to backup Sean Tucker, especially on passing downs, but was still an efficient lead running back. He may be more of a high-end RB2 rather than a true RB1 while White is out, but that still makes him a locked-in fantasy starter for his Week 7 matchup with Baltimore.
