Astounding. Per Next Gen Stats, the “zero ball” came despite 145 air yards. It goes without saying that Will Levis wasn’t throwing a good ball, one that was arguably more wobbly than usual after he was listed with a shoulder ailment. Not only was Ridley held without a catch, the duo never seemed particularly close to hooking up for a grab. There was one Ridley caught in tight coverage, but said coverage was able to easily knock the ball out of his hands. The big-money free agent addition now has two catches over his past three games, and just nine on the season. We’re sure multi-year underachiever Ridley is not blameless in this fiasco, but it’s going more and more difficult for the Titans to argue Levis gives them a better chance to win than Mason Rudolph. The Bills are up next.
