Ridley scored the first touchdown of the game on a beautiful end around where he beat Sauce Gardner to the corner. He then later beat Gardner down the sideline for an impressive 40-yard sliding touchdown grab. Ridley appears to be occupying the big-play role that DeAndre Hopkins had last year, which led to poor catchable target rate from Will Levis but plenty of chances to make splash plays. At this stage of his career, Ridley is more likely to hit on the deep passes than Hopkins, and the fact that the Titans are looking to get him involved as a runner is also good news for his fantasy value. There will be some struggles with Levis under center, but a hero ball quarterback can also be good news for a wide receiver’s fantasy value, which puts Ridley on the WR2/3 border.
