Chargers are signing RB J.K. Dobbins, formerly of the Ravens, to a one-year contract.

Dobbins signs to a Chargers team that has a heavy Ravens influence already with former Ravens executive Joe Hortiz as general manager. He started last season as the Ravens’ starter but tore his Achilles in Week 1. Dobbins also tore his ACL in 2021, beginning a series of injuries that have hampered his career. Once averaging six yards per carry as a rookie, Dobbins joins former offensive coordinator Greg Roman and backfield mate Gus Edwards with the Chargers in hopes of regaining his efficient form.
