CIN • RB • #30
The nine receptions were easily a new career high for the second-year back, but the bigger story was his lost third quarter fumble on a drive where the Bengals could have gone up three scores. Instead, he set up a short field for the Ravens in a game they would go on to win 35-34. No bueno. Of course, the Bengals’ new Zack Moss replacement, Khalil Herbert, managed to fumble a snap on his lone “touch.” That technically went on Joe Burrow’s ledger, but that’s merely a quirk of NFL scoring. Brown hasn’t been nearly as efficient as last season, but his workloads in this high-flying offense have him pushing for RB1 relevance for however long he can keep Herbert at bay. The Chargers are on tap for Week 11.
