Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Kareem Hunt will not be elevated from the practice squad for Week 3 against the Falcons.

The Chiefs signed Keaontay Ingram from the practice squad to the active roster earlier this week, putting him in line for RB3 duties versus the Falcons. Hunt will likely be brought along slowly, meaning he could be left on the practice squad for a few more weeks. Carson Steele will the majority of the between-the-tackles work for Kansas City in Week 3. Samaje Perine is penciled in as the primary option on passing downs.
