Hicks spent three seasons at Washington State and was an All-Pac-12 honorable mention in 2023. He started 23 of the 26 games he appeared in for his career, forcing three interceptions while also breaking up 13 passes over that span. Hicks excels in covering ground and can play a hybrid role for the Chiefs as a heavy hitting run enforcer while also dropping back in coverage.
