Driskell (6'8/313) was an unranked offensive tackle prospect out of Holy Cross High School in Louisville, Kentucky in the 2019 recruiting class. The former walk-on spent six years at Marshall, eventually earning 26 starts over his last two years and Third Team All-Sun Belt Conference in 2023 while paving the way for RB Rasheen Ali and protecting QB Cam Fancher. Driskell has a gargantuan frame at 6’8” and a trim 313 pounds. One would expect better bend from a former high-level basketball player. Nevertheless, there is room to add mass to Driskell’s frame, which could portend better staying power in his future. His upright playing style leads to a number of deficiencies, specifically in recovery and overall reach in space. Driskell is primarily an upper-half athlete as of now. Perhaps a professional weight program can add lower body strength to take advantage of his fluid hips. He will always struggle to reach down to shorter rushers and be vulnerable when the edges of his blocks are attacked. Driskell only has experience at Left Tackle, but with the amount of development that still needs to be taught, a future at Right Tackle is not out of the question. His labrum surgery from 2021 seems to have healed sufficiently so as to not cause any issues in the future.
