The Bucs made a big deal out of Godwin moving back to a primary slot receiver role, and it paid off in a big way in Week 1. Baker Mayfield looked Godwin’s way often when he needed tough catches to move the chains, and Godwin looked sharp in and out of his breaks in a way that he wasn’t last season. We’ve seen what a healthy Chris Godwin can do, and it appears that we’ll get that again this year. He is firmly on the WR2 radar in PPR formats, especially with the Bucs continuing to struggle to run the ball.
