Chris Olave

Chris Olave caught 4-of-6 targets for 81 yards in the Saints’ Week 2 win over the Cowboys, adding three carries for seven yards.

Though Olave led the team in targets, he still did not see any touchdown benefit from the high-scoring Saints offense. Encouragingly, he caught the ball at the one-yard line on a play that would have been a touchdown if Derek Carr’s pass was a couple feet ahead of him. Olave also tipped a slightly unreachable Carr pass into an interception. Ultimately, the high motion offense has been benefitting Rashid Shaheed more than Olave, but Olave is still the leading receiver and will see touchdowns come in as the Saints keep scoring. He is a WR2 for Week 3 against the Eagles.
