Colts agreed to terms with EDGE Tyquan Lewis on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old situational pass rusher has spent his entire career in Indy. He matched a career high with four sacks last season. Not a starter, Lewis is an important depth piece.
Colts general manager Chris Ballard told reporters that the team has “got to have competition at the position just for the fact that, one, competition makes everybody better and, two, [Anthony Richardson has] not proven he can play 17 games.”
Jaguars declared DE Josh Hines-Allen, CB Ronald Darby, LB Ventrell Miller, LT Walker Little, DT Esezi Otomewo, and DT Tyler Lacy inactive for Week 18 against the Colts.
