Kupp announced via his X account that the team is looking to move on from him “immediately.” Per Kupp, he is searching for “the right place to continue competing for championships.” While it sounds like a stunning turn of events, the veteran wideout fell off the map at the end of the 2024 season. He was held under two catches in three of his final five games and went for more than 30 yards once during that stretch. Puka Nacua fully supplanted him as the team’s top wideout and the counting stats bore that out. Even after a quiet 2024, Kupp has plenty of juice left as a possession receiver and should fetch a solid return for the Rams in the trade market. Contending teams like the Chiefs, Ravens, and Commanders are all candidates to land Kupp once the Rams start making calls.
