Cooper Rush

Cooper Rush completed 13-of-23 passes for 45 yards in the Cowboys’ 34-6, Week 10 loss to the Eagles.

This wasn’t the Rush we saw in 2022. Rush was anything but the quality backup we saw go 4-1 in five starts three seasons ago. Starting in place of an injured Dak Prescott (hamstring) for the foreseeable future, Rush averaged a dismal 2.0 YPA on the day while throwing one interception and losing two fumbles. His on-field performance made CeeDee Lamb look like a PPR-scamming WR3, as Rush failed to have a pass go for more than nine yards on the night. He was permanently replaced by Trey Lance in the fourth quarter, although Lance didn’t fare much better. Now sitting at 3-6 on the season, it goes without saying that the Cowboys are officially in trouble. Whoever gets the start in Week 11 against the Texans won’t be worth starting in fantasy.
