Defensive tackle Mazi Smith (back) was also listed as a DNP. He was spotted leaving practice early with a trainer, seemingly suffering a back injury in the middle of the session. It’s not a good start to the week for a defense that just gave up 44 points to the Saints. Dallas gets a struggling Baltimore offense in Week 3. Lamar Jackson would be in a perfect get-right spot if the Cowboys enter the weekend without multiple starters on defense.
