After missing nearly all of training camp while holding out for a new deal, the Cowboys now have a little less than two weeks to ready Lamb for the start of the season. It’s worth noting that the Cowboys were granted a two-game roster exemption for Lamb, meaning he does not currently count against the team’s 53-man roster, but that can be lifted at any time once the team deems him ready to go. It would be surprising if Lamb didn’t suit up for Week 1 against the Browns, as he’s reportedly remained in playing shape while working out away from the team.
