Cowboys HC Mike McCarthy said Micah Parsons (ankle) has not cleared the “return-to-play” threshold for Week 9 against the Falcons.

McCarthy didn’t officially rule out Parsons, but it’s obvious where this one is headed. Parsons did not practice Wednesday and Thursday and worked exclusively with the rehab group on Friday, unable to participate in the walkthrough. The star pass-rusher will miss his fourth-straight game due to his high-ankle sprain and will now target Week 10’s game against the Eagles as a potential return date.
