D'Andre Swift

D'Andre Swift

CHIRB • #4

D’Andre Swift rushed 13 times for 20 yards in the Bears’ Week 3 loss to the Colts, adding two receptions for 20 additional yards.

Squaring off with a run defense that was historically bad in Weeks 1-2, Swift couldn’t sustain drives or bust big plays. Well, that’s not entirely accurate. Given the ball on a 4th-and-1 speed option from the Colts’ one-yard line in the second quarter, Swift ... lost 12 yards. So it was a real big play for the defense. Now averaging 1.83 yards through his first 37 Bears carries, Swift was losing work to Roschon Johnson this afternoon. Even with the pillow-soft Rams on tap for Week 4, Swift is on thin FLEX ice.
