Dameon Pierce (ankle) did not practice on Thursday.

KPRC2’s Aaron Wilson said Wednesday that Pierce was expected back with the team for Week 4. If that’s to happen, he’ll need to log a limited session on Friday even to have a chance. Pierce and starter Joe Mixon (ankle) both have yet to practice this week, setting things up for another week of Cam Akers if neither is able to play. If Pierce does go, fantasy managers should avoid him in Week 4’s contest against the Jaguars.
