Daniel Jones completed 14-of-21 passes for 99 yards in the Giants’ 28-3, Week 7 loss to the Eagles.

It was a brutal day for Jones, who saw nothing develop downfield for much of the afternoon and took seven sacks on his nine offensive drives. It’s the second-straight game in which Jones has struggled mightily, as he’s led the Giants to just 20 points in his last two games. It’s too early to say Jones was benched for Drew Lock, who came in to replace him, but the Giants will almost certainly consider another option for Week 8’s road matchup against the Steelers. The Giants have scored less than 20 points in four of their six games with Jones at the helm, and ranked 29th in points per game (16.0) entering Sunday. While a QB change may not fix this offense, it’s worth looking into for head coach Brian Daboll.
