David Njoku

David Njoku (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday.

Njoku suffered a high-ankle sprain in Week 1 and has been sidelined ever since. He returned to practice for a limited session last Thursday but was then downgraded to a DNP on Friday before being ruled out. It’s possible this was a part of Cleveland’s ramp-up regimen for Njoku. Deshaun Watson desperately needs a reliable underneath target and Njoku would give him just that if healthy. If Njoku is cleared for action in Week 5, he will sit on the TE1/2 border for fantasy purposes.
