Deshaun Watson (shoulder) was seen throwing in 11 on 11 drills during Friday’s practice.

This is notable because, according to Browns beat writer Mary Kay Cabot, this is the first time Watson has thrown in 11 on 11s since last season. Watson has been rehabbing from last year’s season-ending shoulder injury all offseason, working off-and-on with the offense as required by his rehab program. Watson told reporters, “I’m great,” when asked about the status of his shoulder a week before camp. His return to 11 on 11s would suggest he’s continuing to trend in the right direction as far as his recovery is concerned and could be on track for Week 1, barring any setbacks.
