Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said he is “pessimistic” that Raheem Mostert (chest) will play in Week 3 against the Seahawks.

McDaniel did not rule him out, though his comment suggests Mostert won’t play this week. Mostert was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday. De’Von Achane piled up 29 touches in Week 2 with Moster out of the lineup. That was a career-high for the young back and McDaniel talked glowingly about him after the game. Achane should continue to see an RB1 workload for as long as Moster remains out.
