Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver said he’s “hopeful” Jalen Ramsey (hamstring) will play in Week 1 against the Jaguars.

Ramsey was a DNP on Wednesday and hasn’t practiced for a few weeks due to the injury. While it’s encouraging that he hasn’t suffered any reported setbacks in his recovery, a second DNP on Thursday wouldn’t be a great sign. We’ll see how things look on Thursday’s injury report, but the team staying hopeful should create some sense of optimism as the Fins prepare to slow a new-look Jaguars offense that should feature plenty of vertical shots in the passing game.
